2. Estimate Requests Are Non-Binding
Submitting an estimate request through our website creates no obligation on either party. Our initial price range is based on the information you provide and Lake County job data, and is intended only as a planning reference. A binding contract exists only after you review and sign a written project scope and proposal.
3. Communications and Consent

4. The 8A No-Risk Guarantees
Our public guarantees, including the On-Time Completion Guarantee ($100/day credit), No Surprise Cost Guarantee, Clean Jobsite Guarantee, Final Approval Guarantee, Workmanship Guarantee, and Make It Right Guarantee, apply to projects we have contracted in writing. The specific terms, conditions, and dollar limits of each guarantee are set out in your signed project scope. Coverage may vary depending on materials and scope selected.
5. Pricing and Payment
All project pricing is set forth in your signed proposal. Unless otherwise specified in writing, payment is due according to the schedule in your proposal. We accept payment by check, ACH, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Illinois law.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may cancel a scheduled project up to 72 hours before the work start date without penalty. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the start date may be subject to a rescheduling fee to cover crew dispatch and materials staging costs, as set out in your signed proposal.
7. Warranties
We stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty terms, including duration and covered work, are documented in your signed proposal and post-project completion certificate. Material warranties are passed-through from the manufacturer; we will assist you in coordinating any manufacturer warranty claims related to materials we installed.
8. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 8A Solutions LLC's total liability under or in connection with any project is limited to the amounts you have paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, except where such limitation is prohibited by Illinois law.
